Crane as a special machinery, its safety is directly related to the safety of life and property, so, in order to ensure that the crane can work safely and reliably, "lifting machinery safety regulations" stipulates that lifting machinery should be equipped with a variety of safety protection devices. Below let's take a look at the crane safety protection devices are what, each of them have what role.
.Overload limiter When the crane's hoisting exceeds the rated value, the crane is stopped, and accidents due to overloading are never avoided. Overload limiters are widely used on bridge cranes and lifts. Some boom type cranes (such as tower cranes, gantry cranes) use overload limiters with torque limiters.
.The torque limiter is composed of a load detector, an arm length detector, an angle detector, a condition selector, and a microcomputer. When the crane enters the working state, the detection signal of each parameter of the actual working state is input into the computer, after being calculated, amplified, processed, compared with the value of the rated lifting torque stored in advance, and the corresponding actual value is displayed on the display at the same time. come out. When the actual value reaches 90% of the rated value, it will issue an early warning signal. When the actual value exceeds the rated load, an alarm signal will be issued and the crane stops to continue the operation in the dangerous direction (lifting, extending arm, descending arm, turning).
.The working principle of the buffer is that if the cart (or trolley) of a single crane accidentally rushes to the end of the track journey, the buffer can interact with the end stop (another safety device) of the track at the same horizontal height; If two cranes on the same span track collide, the buffer located on the opposite side of the metal structure of the two cranes will act. Through its own deformation, the buffer can quickly transform the collision kinetic energy into elastic potential energy absorption, so as to reduce the impact of collision force and avoid damage to the crane.
.Windproof and anti-skid safety device This is a safety device for preventing the crane working in the open air from sliding along the track under the action of strong wind. The outdoor working track crane should be installed. Its safety function is that when the crane encounters the maximum wind force in the non-working state, the crane is not blown to prevent the crane from tipping over at the end of the track. Common windproof devices include rail clamps, anchoring devices and iron shoes.
